2013 Bridgeport All-Region Team: Jennifer O'Neill emerges for Kentucky

Of the members of the Bridgeport All-Region Team for the 2013 NCAA Tournament you've heard plenty about Elena Delle Donne and will hear plenty about the UConn contingent.

Jennifer O'Neill gets a lot less attention, but Greg Alan Edwards of SB Nation's A Sea of Blue described her as a key piece to the Wildcats' future in his retrospective of the season.

We return a huge portion of our defense and 70% of our offense. We will be stronger, faster, and more skilled at every position next year. Jennifer O'Neill will be hitting her stride as a junior and we will see better perimeter shooting than we have ever had. Forty Minutes will be returning next season, but I believe it will have a twist and a newfound offensive direction. We will get bigger, we will get stronger, and we will get better at handling these elite teams.

As he notes, losing senior A'dia Mathies will hurt, but they're returning the bulk of their rotation and this year's experience can only help them.
