Williams steps up to lead Tennessee to Sweet 16

Highlights from the Tennessee Lady Vols' 68-52 win over the Creighton Bluejays in the second round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament.

Chris Pendley of SB Nation's Rocky Top Talk summed up the Tennessee Lady Vols' 68-52 win over the Creighton Bluejays, focusing on a game in which senior Kamiko Williams stepped up while Meighan Simmons had a quiet night.

Bashaara Graves and Simmons were utterly non-existent in the first half, with 6 points and 4 boards between them. Fortunately, Kamiko Williams dropped 10 in the first half and the nice part - with this team - of a short starting lineup is having a bunch of beef on the bench, who chipped in a bunch of boards...Breadsticks go to Kamiko Williams, whose 15-point, 4-steal performance paced the Lady Vols in the first half and helped to slam the door early in the second half.

Williams' big game plus a defensive adjustment in the second half helped the Lady Vols advance to another Sweet 16 where they'll meet Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.
