Who? The Hurricanes of Miami.

What? Floridians know exactly how destructive hurricanes can be, so I suppose it makes sense as a fearsome name (though, personally, I wouldn't be inclined to name something I liked after something that could leave my house somewhere in South Carolina, but that's just me). Sebastian is named after the residence hall that created him. He's an ibis.

Where? Miami, Florida, the largest cruise ship port in the world.

When? March 24th, in Iowa City, Iowa.

Why? Double-digit wins in the ACC is a pretty good sign that you'll be dancing.

How? They were an at-large selection.

Surprise? Predicted to finish fifth in the conference by the coaches and sixth by the Blue Ribbon Panel, they tied with Florida State for fourth.

Bad losses: At Rutgers, on so many levels.
