What? The mockingbird is the state bird of Tennessee. Scrappy is named for a football coach.

Where? Chattanooga, Tennessee, officially the Scenic City.

When? March 11th, in Asheville, North Carolina.

Why? They won the Southern Conference tournament.

How? The fourth time turned out to be the charm when Kayla Christopher converted an offensive rebound into the game-winning lay-up in Chattanooga's 64-63 win. Taylor Hall led the Lady Mocs with 19 points, while Ashlen Dewart put up 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Surprise? Predicted to finish third in the conference, they ended up in first, three games ahead of Davidson.
