The Chicago Sky announced yesterday that they have signed unrestricted free agent point guard Sharnee' Zoll, as described in a release at their website.
"Sharnee' brings great energy and pace to the court, along with the necessary poise," said Sky coach and general manager Pokey Chatman in the release. "She will add to an already exciting guard tandem of Courtney Vandersloot and Epiphanny Prince. What I like the most is her tremendous fire and passion to improve, not only herself but also every player around her. There was tremendous interest for Sharnee', we feel fortunate she is joining the Sky family."
Zoll was last on a roster last season with the Los Angeles Sparks before missing the season due to an ACL injury, after which she was waived. As described at the time of the injury, her performance in the 2012 preseason with the Sparks suggested that she could be a contributor after being out of the league since being drafted in 2008.
