FIBA.com reports today that the Minnesota Lynx have signed Australian forward Rachel Jarry.
...the 21-year-old has agreed terms with the Minnesota Lynx, the team that acquired her rights in a trade with the Atlanta Dream immediately after Jarry was selected 18th in the 2011 Draft.
"We are looking forward to seeing Rachel in training camp this summer," said Lynx executive vice president Roger Griffith.
"Already a five-year veteran at 21, she has proven to be a difference maker in Australia and should be able to make an immediate impact in the WNBA."
Jarry was on the Opals team that won bronze at the 2012 London Olympics and currently plays for the WNBL's Bulleen Boomers. Of course, making a talented Lynx roster is no guarantee considering that they'll returning most of the roster and bringing in two more top 15 draft picks this season barring a trade.
