Record shooting helps Minnesota Lynx rout the Atlanta Dream (again) in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals, 88-63

All five Minnesota Lynx starters scored in double figures in an 88-63 win over the Atlanta Dream in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals (box score).

Seimone Augustus led the way with a game-high 20 points while Maya Moore scored 10 of her quiet 14 points in the second half while also recording an impressive block in the first half. In addition to scoring 11 points, Janel McCarville did an outstanding job in the post keeping Erika de Souza from establishing post position.

The Dream got off to a rocky start once again: three fouls apiece for both leading scorer Angel McCoughtry (team-high 15 points) and physical center Erika de Souza (team-high 8 rebounds) in the first half contributed to another early deficit that they were never able to overcome.

The Lynx will now have an opportunity to get another Finals sweep of the Dream with a win in Game 3 in Atlanta on Thursday. As Alan Horton has already noted on Twitter, no team in WNBA history has come back from a 2-0 Finals deficit.
