The Minnesota Lynx used 60% shooting in the second quarter to build a 19-point halftime lead and cruise to an 84-59 victory over the Atlanta Dream in Game One of the WNBA Finals (box score).

Despite the final margin, it is worth noting that the Dream were playing with a handicap during that second quarter in which they shot just 16.7%: All-Star Angel McCoughtry was limited to less than five minutes due to foul trouble and wing Tiffany Hayes left the game due to an injury that didn't allow her to return in the first half before playing less than a minute in the second half.
That footnote aside, the Lynx just put on an absolute clinic in Game One: while their offense was clicking on all cylinders, their defense held the Dream to 31.2% shooting overall and forced players like Jasmine Thomas (3-for-15) to try their hand at generating offense.
