Today, the Atlanta Dream released to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Atlanta Business Chronicle the news that Ashley Preisinger would become the new Chief Executive Officer of the Atlanta Dream. Preisinger has strong Atlanta roots, receiving her MBA from Emory, serves on the board of directors for Zoo Atlanta and is the co-chair of the board of trustees for the Georgia Shakespeare Foundation.
Before becoming Dream CEO, she was a cofounder of Jade Capital Management and was a Senior Director of Strategy for Invesco. For the last four years, Preisinger was the Director of Client Development and Marketing at Homrich Berg, a wealth management and investment firm.
Preisinger replaces Peter Canaliciho, who served as Dream CEO for less than one season. She is the first female Dream CEO.
