Tuesday WNBA Open Thread: The Eastern and Western Conference Finals Will Be Decided Tonight, Starting at 7 PM EDT

On Sunday, we saw the Indiana Fever soundly defeat the Atlanta Dream on the road, 103-88. Tamika Catchings and Briann January unleashed the fury by scoring a combined 49 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists. The Seattle Storm also defeated the defending champion Minnesota Lynx 86-79 in double overtime, led by Sue Bird's 22 points, including two dagger threes late in the second overtime period. Today, we will see an encore performance of these teams starting at 7 PM EDT on NBA TV/LiveAccess for the Fever/Dream game, and ending at 9 PM EDT on ESPN 2 for the Lynx/Storm game.

Game 1: #3 Atlanta Dream at #2 Indiana Fever, 7 PM ET/4 PM PT on NBA TV and LiveAccess for Round 1, Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Playoffs. Series is Tied, 1 a piece. | Here's a piece from Full Court on Erika De Souza | James' take on Game 2 | And Ashley Preisinger is the new Dream CEO | Fever Preview

I've hyped up the series a good amount from the intro paragraph. So far, the road teams have come up victorious in this playoff series. Question is if the Dream can win another on the road tonight and get to its third straight Eastern Conference Finals appearance.

Game 2: #4 Seattle Storm at #1 Minnesota Lynx, 9 PM ET/6 PM PT on ESPN 2 for Round 1, Game 3 of the Western Conference Playoffs. Series is Tied, 1 a piece. | Wolves Guard (and wasted Wizards Draft Pick) Ricky Rubio bought 500 tickets for fans to watch this game | Post Game Notes from Game 2 | Video highlights from Game 2 | Twitter reactions from WNBA experts and fans | Lynx Preview | From the Storm: An oral history of Game 2 in this series

Even if you aren't a Storm Fan Crazy or if you aren't a member of the Lynxpack #LosLynx, that Sunday game was good, and was the definition of playoff excellence. I personally thought this was the end of the Bird and Jackson era before the game started, and here I am eating my words and getting laughed at by the team in green and gold.

But in the playoffs, emotions run high and it's very easy for one game to totally go one team's way and against that same team in the next game. So while this was a great game, and while I could see the Storm blowing out the Lynx in Minny tonight, I can also see the Lynx blowing out the Storm too. But really, I hope to see yet another great game between these two teams.

So those are the games, and enjoy the concluding games of these two great playoff matches!
