According to multiple sources, LSU senior starting point guard Destini Hughes has suffered a devastating knee injury in which she will be lost for the season. Hughes suffered a torn ACL, MCL, LCL and meniscus in LSU's loss to Tennessee. She also has a streched patella tendon. This is devastating news for LSU as Hughes was having her best year of her career at LSU. Hughes was averaging 7.6 points and 2.7 assists per game. Look for sophomore Jeanne Kenney to assume more of the resposibilities at point guard.
