Dream beat the Sky, 76-68

Angel McCoughtry dropped 24 points, and three other Dream players scored in double figures to defeat the Chicago Sky earlier tonight. The Dream outscored the Sky 24-14 in the 4th quarter to get the victory. This game had some interesting trends to me. Chicago missed 11 of their first 12 shots and fell 18-5 with less than 4 minutes left in the first, but were leading 42-35 in the 3rd quarter. Also, Chicago had an overall FG%age of less than 36% but still managed to get nearly half of their three pointers in and made 11 of 13 free throws. The Dream also managed to pull this game off without making even one three pointer, though it isn't terribly surprising when they are the worst team from beyond the arc. Chicago falls to 7-8 and Atlanta moves up to 4-9 but still has work to do in order to get back into the playoff race.
