The Chicago Sky will be short a bench player, as Dominique Canty is expected to miss the next three weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on her left knee today. Canty was contributing 3.3 points, 2.0 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 12 minutes per game for the Sky this season. "It is unfortunate we will lose Dominique for a period of time," said head coach and general manager Pokey Chatman. "She is a valuable leader on the court, and our younger, more inexperienced players will need to mature quickly for us to compete against the best of the Eastern Conference."
