The Mystics acquired All-Star center Nicky Anosike from the Minnesota Lynx today, in return for the Mystics' 2012 first round pick. This appears to be a win-win trade, as the Lynx shed their roster of a player they weren't entirely thrilled with (considering her departures at the end of each of the last two seasons) and don't add another one (beneficial because of all their draft picks). Washington has been in need of a true center to take the heat off Crystal Langhorne inside, and Anosike has shown she has tremendous skills. I like the trade for both teams.
