Time to Dance: Arkansas-Little Rock, Sun Belt

Who? The Trojans of Arkansas-Little Rock.

What? Not those Trojans. The mortal enemy of Greeks kind of Trojans.  I think.  I couldn't find anything more than that.  So maybe those Trojans.

Where? Little Rock, Arkansas, home of the only zoo in Arkansas. (Please, no Ozark jokes.).

When? March 8th, in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Why? Because they won the Sun Belt conference tournament.

How? Chastity Reed scored 22 points to lead the West Division champion Trojans over surprise finalist Western Kentucky, 66-59.

Surprise? Nope. UALR won their division and had the top seed by way of a tie-breaker with Middle Tennessee State.

Who's driving this thing, anyway? Joe Foley, since 2003, whose career has been based in Arkansas.

RPI: 62

SOS: 124

Record: 23-7 (14-2)

Best win: Louisiana Tech (H)

Worst loss: Memphis (A)

Notable results: South Dakota State (canceled), Bowling Green (L, N, 56-47), Oklahoma State (L, A, 55-52)

It starts with the Sun Belt Player of the Year, senior forward Chastity Reed, who averages 19.4 points per game as the only double-figure scorer for the Trojans. This is not a team that scores a lot, and they're in trouble if Reed can't stay on the floor (four foul-outs this season).
