The only questions were whether Doug Bruno, Geno Auriemma's vote for Coach of the Year would upset the four time defending Coach of the Year, or whether Stefanie Dolson and Bria Hartley would split the UConn votes. In the end, to the surprise of no one, UConn Huskies swept the major awards tonight given out by the Big East: Auriemma Coach of the Year, Hartley Rookie of the Year, and Maya Moore taking both Academic Player of the Year and Player of the Year awards.
