Michigan Remains Unbeaten in Blowout Fashion, defeats Marquette, 71-51


In their last game at the Paradise Jam Tournament, Michigan went out in style with a 71-51 victory over Marquette. Courtney Boylan led Michigan with 16 points but the best all around perfomance of the day went to her teammate, Jenny Ryan. Ryan had 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Boylan was also named MVP of the Tournament. Michigan's 7-0 start to the season is its best start under coach Kevin Borseth. In a losing effort, Marquette was led by Sarina Simmons' 14 points. Arlesia Morse and Christina Bigica also contributed with 11 points apiece for Marquette.
