Who:The Tulsa Shock are hosing the San Antonio SIlver Stars in an afternoon contest
What: Tulsa (0-1) dropped the opening contest to Minnesota last weekend, a 80-74 game that was tied up at halftime. San Antonio (0-1) also enters after a home loss, after falling 75-70 to the Atlanta Dream last Saturday. The two opponents are separated by a seven hour drive down I-35, a potential new regional rivalry being born today?

The Story:In their first outing, the scoring leaders for San Antonio were guard Becky Hammon and forward Sophia Young, who nabbed, 20 and 15 points respectively. And for the Shock, strong bench play was the opening night story. Amber Holt was the leading scorer, with 16 points and Chante Black was the leading rebounder with 10.
With both teams looking to get a W in theis oddly timed game it will be interesting to see just who is awake and ready to run as Richardson is hoping to focus on continuing a stron defense, getting better offensive production, eliminating turnovers and - you guessed it - being quick.
