Here's a video of Mystics GM/Coach Mike Thibault in regards to the recent offseason transactions involving center Kia Vaughn and guard Natalie Novosel who is in DC for offseason workouts. All courtesy of Monumental Network.

In the video, in regards to Vaughn Coach Thibault noted that she is a young player who is entering her prime, and will be a good fit in DC. He also wished that Natalie played more in the latter half or the 2012 season. Though she played at least 12 minutes in the team's last four games she also had three games in September when she played one (vs the Sun on 9/4), two (vs the Liberty on 9/12), and five minutes (vs the Liberty on 9/1). In that month, the Mystics were also totally out of the playoff picture. Coach got a chance to talk to her more in depth and believes that this will be a fresh start, which truthtella noted in our piece regarding Natalie being at yesterday's STH event and for the Wizards' game vs. the Pistons.

UPDATE on March 1, 2013, 6:25 PM: Since coming to DC, Thibault has been very active supporting the Wizards and Capitals, and Ted Leonsis gives a nice take here on that.
