The Atlanta Dream's defense is a large part of what helped them overcome injuries and absences this year and they were rewarded with three selections to the 2011 WNBA All-Defensive Teams - Sancho Lyttle, Angel McCoughtry, & Armintie Price - for the most of any team. You can probably guess most of what I would comment on these teams by referring back to my choices for the team, but I would start by saying I'm most - though only mildly - surprised that New York Liberty guard Essence Carson was left off the team more than anything else.
