Former WNBA players Teresa Edwards and Marie Ferdinand-Harris are scheduled to participate in Veterans Day activities, according to the NBA's Hoops for Troops webpage.
- A visit to Brooke Army Medical Center and the Center for the Intrepid in San Antonio will be led by NBA Legend Bruce Bowen and WNBA Legend Marie Ferdinand-Harris.
- NBA Legend Buck Williams and WNBA Legend Teresa Edwards will spend time at the Fisher House and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
The two WNBA players will be part of a three city initiative to honor active and retired service men and women and their families.
