Kurt Godlevske named new head coach at Butler


Butler has removed the interim tag and has named Kurt Godlevske as it's permanent head coach -- they interviewed him yesterday. Godlevske was named interim head coach after Butler fired Beth Couture on April 23. In a statement, Butler Vice President and athletic director Barry Collier said: "We are pleased and excited to announce that Kurt Godlevske will continue to lead our women’s basketball team. Kurt is committed to the Butler Way and the personal development of our student-athletes. He is experienced, dedicated and has a proven record of coaching success, and we are confident that he will guide our program to new levels of excellence."
