Los Angeles Sparks waive Lindsey Harding

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Sparks have waived guard Lindsey Harding, per the WNBA Transactions page.

Harding's production (and minutes) were down significantly last year, and she was a less-than-perfect fit with backcourt mate Kristi Toliver, so it's not a shocking move. In 2014, Harding shot just 33% overall and 27% from three. She also lost her starting job after being a full time starter (for L.A., Atlanta, and Washington) every year since 2009.

After a disappointing season last year, it's nice to see the Sparks shaking things up. With Jantel Lavender as an RFA and some guard spots to fill, it will be interesting to see what L.A.'s final 2015 roster looks like.
