Just saw this on WNBA.com. It does seem to be silly that players who have not played yet this season are on the ballot. What are the odds that some of them are going to be All-Star worthy by the time the polling closes? I can't remember enough about MLB balloting to know if the same thing happens there. I know that occasionally injured players make the team on the ballot, but I am pretty sure that they have at least played prior to the beginning of the balloting. There are some names on the ballot that show that consideration has been made of what has actually occured this year, i.e. Jessica Breland. Does anyone even have a timeframe on Tamika Catchings' return? I know that Rebekkah Brunson is at least another month away. Happy voting!
