John Altavilla of the Hartford Courant reported yesterday on Connecticut Huskies guard Kelly Faris hitting a milestone yesterday that is shared only with former Husky great Maya Moore.

With her six rebounds Saturday, Kelly Faris joined Maya Moore as the only two players in UConn women's basketball history to score at least 1,000 points with 750 rebounds, 500 assists and 250 steals.

And although she maintains in the article that stats aren't of concern to her, her statistics actually cast her in a pretty favorable light as a WNBA draft prospect as described a couple of weeks ago.
