How? Kara Pollinger canned six threes on her way to 24 points, and Jade Geif added nine points and 12 rebounds to power the Mids to a 72-53 win over Holy Cross.
Surprise? Predicted to finish first in the conference, they finished tied for first with Army, but fell to second on the tiebreaker.

Not a senior to be seen on this Navy squad- everything rests on the juniors. Forward Jade Geif leads the way with 13.1 points and 7.9 rebounds, but the 55.4% free throw shooting worries me. Guards Alix Membreno (11.4 ppg) and Kara Pollinger (10.8) are threats from deep and share playmaking duties.
