The WNBA has finally released its regular season schedule for 2013. The first WNBA game of the year will take place on Friday, May 24th when the Indiana Fever travel to San Antonio to take on the Silver Stars.
According to a press release from the WNBA, the WNBA All-Star game will take place on Saturday, July 27th at the Mohegan Sun Arena at 3:30 pm. Over 80 games will be telecast on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and NBA TV with over 40 of those games coming to NBA TV.
WNBA Live Access will also be available and will archive games all season long. This is the fifth year of an eight-year deal that allows ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 to televise WNBA games.
The first rematch between the Minnesota Lynx and the Indiana Fever takes place on July 11th at Indiana as an 12 noon ET day game. The second match between the two clubs takes place on August 24th in Minneapolis at 7 pm ET and will be televised on ESPN2.
