From the Los Angeles Times:
Holdsclaw, 35, was arrested last November after allegedly assaulting her ex-girlfriend and former Atlanta Dream teammate Jennifer Lacy.
According to reports, Holdsclaw smashed the windows of Lacy's car with a baseball bat and fired a gunshot into the car while Lacy was inside.
No one was injured in the incident.
You're probably not going to find much analysis in the print/network journalism other that perhaps "LOLWNBA" in the comment threads. One website breathlessly reports "WNBA star faces 65 years in prison". Even though it's not the same circumstance, it reminds me of that line in Malcolm X: "Shorty thought he hit us with 114 years till I explained what 'concurrently' meant."
