Video: Talia Caldwell's 1000th career point vs Arizona State

A clip of Talia Caldwell's 1000th career point in a 66-53 win at Haas Pavilion against Arizona State.

Prior to tonight's game against the Oregon Ducks, the California Golden Bears will honor senior forward Talia Caldwell for scoring her 1000th point against Arizona State on February 8.

norcalnick of California Golden Blogs summarized the performance back then.

Talia showed why she's such a high percentage shooter - when she gets the ball in good low post position it's all over, and when she doesn't she knows to pass it back out to the guards...The win also included a few milestones. Talia Caldwell passed 1,000 career points and the Bears matched 2008-09 for their best start to a season in Cal history. That feels a little silly to talk about in early February, but it will still be a nifty record to try to break on Sunday.

To the point of Cal getting out to their best start to a season in Cal history, tonight they are going for their 12th straight win which would not only represent the longest active streak in the Pac-12 but also match that 2008-09 team for the longest streak in program history.

Tonight's game (6 p.m. PST) will be televised on Pac-12 networks and available online at Pac-12.com. For live stats and audio info, visit CalBears.com.
