The Atlanta Dream will keep playing games at Philips Arena through the end of the 2015 season.

A press release from Philips Arena states that the Atlanta Dream and Philips Arena have renewed their leasing agreement.  The new lease extends to the end of the 2015 season.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Philips Arena,” said Dream CEO Ashley Preisinger. “We’ve had tremendous on-the-court success at Philips, and off the court, our relationship with the staff has been strong. We’re looking forward to raising another Eastern Conference Championship banner into the arena rafters at the start of the 2014 season.”

With the end of Kelly Loeffler's prospective Senate run and the signing of a new lease  it looks as it the Dream will be around for a couple more years - good news not just for Atlanta fans, but for everybody.
