The Tulsa Shock became the seventh (out of twelve) teams in the WNBA to have a jersey sponsorship. According to the Tulsa World, "The WNBA franchise will wear the Osage Casino logo on its uniform jerseys, starting with the 2013 season."
This is the second casino sponsorship of a jersey by the WNBA - the New York Liberty wear the Foxwoods casino logo. The Connecticut Sun team is owned by the Mohegan Sun casino and resort.
Hopefully, the league can keep making progress until every team in the league has a jersey sponsorship.
