When I kept hearing that Kayla Pedersen had flu-like symptoms that left her sidelined for the Tulsa Shock for an extended period of time, I had a feeling that the squinky of the Shock was back - staph infection. Apparently that gut feeling was right, as Mechelle Voepel reported today about the epidemic that has hit the franchise in each of the last three seasons, striking at least six players.
