Tulsa Shock (6-20) at Seattle Storm (11-14), 10 PM ET/7 PM PT
WNBA.com | Storm Q&A with League Boss Laurel Richie
It's been a full week since Seattle has played a game, and after the team lost four of its last five games, I think it's safe to say that Sue's Crew could have used it more than any other team with the exception of the Mystics.
Speaking about the Mystics, I see a little de ja vu for the Storm here. The Storm had a back to back against DC starting at home and ending on the road, where the team capped off a five game winning streak. Now, the team has a back to back in the form of a home and home against the Shock, where the team can start building momentum for its stretch run. The road Tulsa game is also the first of FOUR straight games on the road, including two eastern opponents in ATL and Indy. If Seattle can win its next two games which won't be that easy despite the record, it could build some momentum going forward.
As for Tulsa, this is an opportunity to play some spoiler ball. If the Black and Yellow Young Guns can beat the Green and Gold Grannies, especially if Phoenix can start building a big winning streak.... well... it's gotta feel pretty good sending a team like the Storm back to the lottery for the first time in nine years.
