WNBA Remains Tops For Balanced Hiring Practices
The University of Central Florida's Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport has given the WNBA an A+ for its hiring practices. It is the first time any sports league has been given an A+ by the institute. (Last year's WNBA grade was an A.) The other reports out this year are for Major League Baseball which dropped from B- to C+ and for the NBA which received an A. If last year is any indication, reports for Major League Soccer and the National Football League should soon follow. (Both leagues received combined grades of B last year.)
