Tina Charles of the Connecticut Sun and Candace Parker of the Los Angeles Sparks were named the WNBA’s Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week presented by Boost Mobile, respectively, for games played July 8 to July 15. I have this as not only the second time in as many weeks that Charles has won the award, but also the second time that both of these players have won the award in the same week.
