The Phoenix Mercury announced via twitter that guard Andrea Riley has been re-signed to the squad, after being released during training camp. The open roster spot is due to the fact that Diana Taurasi is out "indefinitely" with a hip injury and Phoenix was down to nine available players. How bad is Diana's injury? Who knows. All the information the Merc provided was that her hip was injured in training camp and is to be reexamined daily. Looks like indefinite might be a little longer than expected.
