Tuesday Night Open Thread: Sun Host The Fever, Dream Host Liberty At 7 p.m. EDT

Stay connected for news and updates

Two games tonight and I'm taking over for thewiz06 tonight, which means you get boring stuff like numbers and predictions.

My apologies in advance. I'll start with the basic number though: both games are at 7 p.m. EDT and are available on WNBA LiveAccess for $4.95 (if you haven't already purchased your season pass).

Game 1: Atlanta Dream vs. N.Y. Liberty

WNBA.com preview | SB Nation Atlanta preview/storystream

After hearing that the Liberty "fell" to the Connecticut Sun on Friday, someone suggested we need stronger language to describe that debacle - it was bad and "fell" sounds too benign for record halftime deficits. Tonight they face a Dream team that is likely playing without Angel McCoughtry but still capable of forcing turnovers.

NSR prediction: Atlanta Dream 69.95%, New York Liberty 30.05%

Game 2: Connecticut Sun vs. Indiana Fever

WNBA.com preview | SB Nation Boston preview/storystream

The Sun are looking to keep some momentum going after having a solid weekend led by Player of the Week Tina Charles, who should be a major concern for the Fever as well as she's coming off a 20/20 performance - the Fever allow more offensive rebounds than any team in the league.

NSR prediction: Connecticut Sun 58.53%, Indiana Fever 41.47%

Bonus game: Miami Heat vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

This game can be found on a TV near you.

All the details on that at SB Nation's NBA hub.
