One of the most interesting things about this signing: although Paris was a better defensive rebounder (20%) with Atlanta than Kizer has been with Tulsa this season, they're rather identical statistically otherwise. But that difference should be significant for the Shock: they allow more offensive rebounds (34.5%) than any team in the Western Conference.
