Washington Mystics Sign Shannon Bobbitt, Waive Dominique Canty

Considering the fact that the Mystics have had trouble in the backcourt all season long, it's not a particular surprise that a change was made. Bobbitt played a preseason game for the Fever this season, and she is a younger player. I anticipate a starting backcourt of Quinn and Ajavon for the foreseeable future after this move. On a side note, the Mystics section at NBAStore.com had Alana Beard until not long ago and replaced her with Canty on the front. Now, they have to change her for someone else.
