Two games on the schedule today with the top two teams in the Eastern Conference squaring off against two teams that might find themselves battling for the fourth seed at the end of the season.
All the games are on WNBA LiveAccess; predictions from National Sports Rankings and brief previews after the jump.
Game 1: New York Liberty vs. Chicago Sky
4 p.m. EDT
Preview: WNBA.com preview
Prediction: New York Liberty 54.9%, Chicago Sky 45.1%
After a rough start to the season, the Liberty are starting to play up to their potential and have an interesting test against the Sky today. Although Sylvia Fowles and Epiphanny Prince cause problems for everyone they play, they have consistently struggled with turnovers and the Liberty have started to turn that differential around for themselves a bit.
Game 2: Connecticut Sun vs. Atlanta Dream
5 p.m. EDT
Preview: WNBA.com preview
Prediction: Connecticut Sun 69.15%, Atlanta Dream 30.85%
Rebounding could end up determining the outcome of this game as the Dream have struggled to compete on the boards thus far this season with Erika de Souza. However, if the Dream's quickness around the perimeter can force the Sun into turnovers, they could make this game a bit closer than the above prediction suggests.
