Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

To celebrate the effect Title IX has had since being passed on June 23, 1972, the Mercury is turning its website in to an awareness platform. The site will host videos and stories sharing the history of the legislation and will honor successful women.

The Mercury also is asking people to submit personal stories of Title IX’s impact on their lives. Everyone who submits a story will receive a free ticket to the Mercury’s Woman of Inspiration Game on June 23, the 40-year anniversary of Title IX’s signing.

From Phoenix Mercury to commemorate anniversary of Title IX via The Arizona Republic.
