First, a recap of the Euroleague matches this week:

Eurocup

The second-order tournament, Eurocup, finished the second leg of its eighth finals matches (standings in the 8th finals are marked in the table next to "EC 8F"). As this was a best-of-two playoff, one could advance by having either winning both games or if both teams split the series, then having the highest overall score.

Spain

The Copa de la Reina competition - the Queen's Cup - has now been set with the following four teams guaranteed at least a fourth place finish after next week's round of play, when the regular season will be officially half over.

Rivas Ecopolis 9-0
Perfumerias 7-2
UNI Girona 7-2
Caja Rural 6-4

The Spanish play again on December 22 and then there's no regular season game until January 12 - so I suspect they'll fit the cup matches in there somewhere.

Poland

The PLKK decided to fine Wisla Can-Pack general manager Peter Dunin-Suligostowskiego 10,000 zlotny and suspend him for three games after an incident that took place during a visit to CCC Polkowice on November 18, 2012. A CCC Polkowice fan taunted Dunin-Suligostowskiego (no profanity was used) and Dunin-Suligostowskiego attempted to fight the fan and several others. What exactly happened is not made clear in the various reports but the PLKK did have video footage to look at and made the decision to fine the Wisla GM.

Greece

It looks like the Greek Cup matched will take place this Saturday, but I can't find a schedule or anything. However, one team will be playing its match behind closed doors - Panathinaikos, which was penalized for fan behavior during a match with Ikaros Kalitheas.
