Should the Fever win the game tonight, the league will be jealous of Zellous. - Marilyn Indahl-US PRESSWIRE
Last Friday, the Indiana Fever soundly defeated the Minnesota Lynx, winning 76-59. The score was much closer than the game itself, when Indy was leading 70-38 after three quarters. Today, the Fever tries to seal the deal on the Lynx and win its first WNBA championship in front of its fans. Game is at 8:00 PM EDT on ESPN 2, and it should end well after star NFL rookie quarterback Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts play against the Cleveland Browns at 1:00 PM EDT.

What stuck out to me
The stats that really stuck out to me were that the Lynx only dished 6 total assists (none by Lindsay Whalen or Maya Moore), and gave up 18 turnovers, while the Fever had a more respectable 14 assists to 13 turnovers. In addition, Indiana was dominant in rebounds, and Erlana Larkins grabbed 15 of them.
Shavonte Zellous was the star of Friday's game scoring 30 points. Tamika Catchings as usual was a versatile playmaker adding 17 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Erin Phillips and Erlana Larkins also scored in double figures.
So will Indiana win tonight or not?
I'm not the Nostradamus here. I wouldn't be surprised if the Fever seals the deal tonight, but I'm not surprised if Minnesota beats them by 30 tonight either. Wild scoring margin swings are not uncommon.
So that's it.
If this is the last game of the 2012 WNBA season, then this ends a chapter to a successful season in the W overall. However, at the same, I wouldn't mind seeing Game 5 on Wednesday either, so we'll see.
