After being on a three-game losing streak, Michigan State was able to bounce back today with an important win in upsetting #18/19 Penn State, 83-77. Bentley, who is Penn State's second leading scorer only had 8 points on 3-11 (27%) shooting. Also Michigan State head coach Suzy Merchant's move to insert Porche' Poole into the starting lineup paid immediate dividends. Poole had her best game as a Spartan with a career-high 32 points. Also contributing for Michigan State was Lykendra Johnson who had a double double with 16 points and a game-high 12 rebounds. Kiana Johnson also had 12 points for the Spartans.
