Minnesota Defeats San Antonio 85-67, Move to Western Conference Finals
The best in the regular season Minnesota Lynx won both home games in their best-of-3 series with San Antonio to advance in the 2011 playoffs. Minnesota got a game-high 22 points and eight rebounds from Seimone Augustus in the win. The Lynx were also helped by Taj McWilliams-Franklin's 16 points and four assists, Rebekkah Brunson's 15 points and nine boards and rookie Maya Moore's 14 points and four assists at the Target Center.
Minnesota, who has home-court advantage as the top seed in the league, will host Phoenix on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The Mercury landed in the Conference Finals after a buzzer-beating win in Seattle last night. The Lynx narrowly won the fast-paced season series with the Mercury 3-2.
