This guy apparently didn't watch the Phoenix Mercury's 92-83 win last night, but gets props for rocking a Seattle Storm jersey (I have yet to obtain a WNBA jersey). He says it's time to panic, but I'd respectfully disagree - the Storm have lost twice in two seasons at KeyArena. As we already know, neither of those losses were against the Mercury. No need to panic and - after Game 2 - no reason to be overconfident either.
Anyway, for more on the game, visit the summaries at either SBN Arizona and SBN Seattle.

i would panic if i am a storm player, coach, or fan
sure the storm won two titles in the last ten years, but in six of its last eight playoff runs, the storm lost in the first round. Granted, the mercury used to be a team that either didn’t make the playoffs or won it all during the Diana era, but the storm is a team that has generational talent but traditionally doesn’t get it together as often as it should either.

Good thing you're not a coach or player!
History, as the Lynx are demonstrating, doesn’t usually follow players that weren’t with a franchise when a franchise made it.
Even in 2008 when most of the key players currently on the roster were present, LJ got injured so that can’t really be held against them. Then Wright, Little, and Robinson have all improved dramatically i all aspects since then.
With 7 of their top 8 generally relatively healthy (2010-11), they’re 41-2 at home and still undefeated in the playoffs after their Game 1 win.
Hard to just ignore the tradition of the current players in favor of one many of them had nothing to do with…and I’m sure the Mercury don’t mind either way.
If they’re down 30 at halftime in Game 3, I’ll panic. ;)
