Nate has been hard at work compiling his choices for post-season awards. In tonight's games you'll be able to see his selections for Sixth Woman of the Year (DeWanna Bonner, PHX), Most Improved Player (Kia Vaughn, NYL), and Most Valuable Player (Tamika Catchings, IND). Additionally, Penny Taylor (1st team), Sue Bird (1st team) and Cappie Pondexter (2nd team) were slated on his All-WNBA teams. Quite a nice cast of characters lacing them up this evening, I'd say, and plenty to discuss in this first night of playoff action - happy threading!

A little off topic, and probably a silly question/desire, but anyone know if there’s a printable bracket available…anywhere…for these playoffs? I searched in Google and as soon as I got to “wnba printable” it suggested I was searching for “nba printable bracket.” And I don’t see a W one anywhere.
I could just make my own, but that could be said about brackets for any other playoff and yet they are available all over the place. :-/

I know that if it were still regular season, she would be out next game. I’m pretty sure that the tech count starts over in the playoffs, but I’m not positive. Also am not sure what the post-season tech limit is. Will be checking it out though, for sure…
