Texas A&M Officially Announces Intentions to Leave Big 12
Texas A&M has officially announced its intentions to find a new conference home, leaving the Big 12 effective June 30, 2012 for places yet unknown.
One of the best women's basketball conferences in the nation, losing the 2011 national champion will leave the soon-to-be 9-team conference cupboards more barren. If the Big 12 survives this latest succession, the replacement options are nowhere near the top-tier caliber of what they will be losing.
Goodbye, Aggies. Big 12 women's basketball will miss you!

There is this plane
(I don’t know if you follow me on twitter, but)… a mystery plane (i.e. unknown owner) was flying around from Norman, to College Station to Columbia, Mo. on Sunday night. The plane is somehow OU related/has OU logo on the tail. Said plane is currently en route to Houston as we speak.
As for Tulsa, they’re not footbally enough. And TCU? Will they jump again before they’re even all the way started in the Big East? I think this is the beginning of the end. Or the beginning of a really weak conference. :/

I've been a (not so in the) closet Big 12 WBB fan for years now
That makes me kind of bummed about the conference being dismantled bit by bit, just because.
Also, If Texas A&M was going to split, wish they would have come over to the Pac-12 as the early rumors last year suggested they might.

They haven't announced where they're applying yet
I know all the rumors are SEC (and I’m pretty sure that’s where it’ll be), but I’m almost hoping that the Pac-12 will take four of the Big Whateverweare – ugh.

Pac-14
Works for me. I’d like us to be a srs bsns WBB conference.
It’ll be weird to see the Aggies saw Varsity’s horns off when they aren’t even in the same conference anymore…though they’ve been giging the Horned Frogs since 1930 even though they haven’t been in the same conference forever, either.
