Seattle Storm Move Into Tie For Third Place With Win Against San Antonio Silver Stars
The Seattle Storm's 78-64 win over the San Antonio Silver Stars wasn't perfect, but it was good enough to get a win at home against a conference rival and improve their standing in the Western Conference.
Having won four of their last five with tonight's win, the Storm are now tied for third with the Phoenix Mercury and a half game behind the second place San Antonio Silver Stars. The Western Conference playoff race is just getting started and it's far too early to count the fifth place LA Sparks out - depending on when Candace Parker returns, they could be a threat down the stretch.
