Around SBN: Win or Lose, Boston Celtics' New Big 3 Era A Success

The record nobody wants now firmly belongs to the Tulsa Shock. After leading by as many as 15 points against Los Angeles, the Shock went back to being the Shock and had a 9-point third quarter followed by a 13-point fourth to fall to the Sparks 72-65.

LA was led by Candace Parker's 23 points, 16 of which came in the 2nd half of action. Delisha Milton-Jones finished with 15 points and 7 rebounds while Kristi Toliver added 14 points in the win. For Tulsa, Sheryl Swoopes posted a season-high 17 points, Jen Lacy had 13 and Ivory Latta ended with 11. The game's leading rebounder was Tiffany Jackson of the Tulsa Shock with 11.

I don't even know what to say after this one.

Lauren Jackson is back, and not a moment too soon!

Did the Shock just not believe they were good enough to win?

Has it gotten to that point?

Lauren Jackson is back, and not a moment too soon!

Once again a terrible uninspired coaching effort

And a bunch of terrible decisions by so called vets!

Well, there's not much you can say about the coaching effort

Since the head coach quit midseason.

Lauren Jackson is back, and not a moment too soon!

agree

this team was relocated and the players who were on the Shock before clearly didn’t want to be in Oklahoma. It doesn’t help when the coaching staff also changed in the process.

Edwards is not a coach and this team is not being coached!

She has proven time and time again that she has no idea why are you not able to point in her direction? Everyone was pretty keen to blame Nolan? She was there during all of that this year. There is no correlation between being a player and being a coach. Seriously its so hard to even call it a team they are a bunch of people that no one wanted (liz and Kayla are not included as they would be wanted anywhere) Swoopes is included and if what she is doing is leadership its not the kind I am used to!

Looks like she won't get called back in 2012.

She has a double negative – she is not winning and she is not making a love connection with Cambage.

Her coaching resume is quite short. Player/Coach of Atlanta Glory in 1996/1997 and assistant coach for Minnesota Lynx in 2006.
